My name is CJ Mugavero and I am announcing my campaign as a “write in” candidate for the office of Bordentown City Commissioner. Why now? Why as a write in? Why didn’t I petition to be on the ballot last summer along with my other five opponents? Urgency. Passion. Excitement. While my opponents are all qualified and bring relevant professional experience to their campaigns, as I have watched this election season unfold, I more fully realized that as a resident, local business woman, and community leader, I would bring a long and uniquely Bordentown City focused realm of experience and perspective to the office. Though disadvantaged as a late, “write in” candidate, I look forward to the challenge and look forward to the opportunity to display the energy and work ethic that I’m known for.
